Sent CD's via Media Mail - UPSP open and Charged Customer

Sold a 50 count  Spindle of min CDR's and USPS opened it - marked on the package does not qualify and charged my customer $4.60 postage due.   I am 99% sure those fall under whats needed for Media Mail rate -   was I not correct on this?  What is the chance and or process of getting a refund for my customer

Thanks!

If they were blank, then they weren't eligible.  tThe premise of eligibility for MM is based on the content, in print or electronic format. Blank stuff like discs, journals, etc. wouldn't be eligible.

Blank CDs don't qualify for media mail.

The others are correct. Blank cd's don't qualify.  you owe the buyer $4.60.

Refund the $4.60 to the buyer , apologize and let them know that you were not aware that blank cds do NOT qualify for the media rate. Hopefully the buyer is intelligent to realize you made an honest error and not give you a negative.
