Selling Magazines shipping via Media Mail

Happy Holidays everyone, 

Wanted to put this question out to other sellers who sell and ship out Magazines and their shipping method. That is, I see many sellers that ship out magazines via USPS media mail where I see that USPS prohibits the mailing of magazines (specifically those that contain ads) via media mail.  I have magazines for sale now but hesistate sending them via media mail.  So, how is it that others send out by media mail?

Magazines are not the only items prohibited in Media Mail. There's a big seller of yearbooks that's shipped thousands of yearbooks Media Mail, screwing USPS out of many thousands of dollars.  If everyone would report the sellers that abuse MM to their PO  maybe postal rates wouldn't be so high.

The USPS has the types of materials that can be shipped Media Mail

I have sold comic books that I have sent First class mail......

I have sold books that I could ship Media Mail......

The USPS will let you know what can and can not be shipped Media Mail.

They don't look in every package but, they do check a lot of them.  Some do sneak by.
