Seller sold an Factory Unlocked Phone while it isnt. What should i do?

On the 07.02.2019 i bought Galaxy A5 from ebay UK - phone that stated on item title "Factory Unlocked" phone.

But when i try to put my sim here in israel it says that i must insert "SIM network unlock PIN" to unlock it.

As far as i know, Factory unlocked phone will work worldwide without any problems.

In Sale title the seller state:

SAMSUNG GALAXY A5 2017 SM-A520F GOLD SAND 32GB FACTORY UNLOCKED 2017 MODEL

Factory unlocked means that this phone WILL work with any carrier without network locked problems.
I allways buy Factory unlocked Phones from US and never got something like that before.

Apperently he sold me an Unlocked phone. Not FACTORY Unlocked phone.

In the item description he say:

COMES WITH 1 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY.

I'v contact the seller which told me that the blame is on me since i didnt say a word about using the phone out of the UK.

He told me to get a UK sim card (which i dont have) to do a call to the carrier so the phone network will unlocked.

What should i do?

If you bought this through GSP (Global Scamming Program) @thinksales your seller knew it was going outside the UK. Start a return request to get both the item price and the GSP fees refunded.

Otherwise, if you used a freight forwarder to get to Isreal, then you don't have eBay Money Back Guarantee protection.

If the transaction took place on ebay.co.uk, you might want to check the UK discussion boards to make sure procedures for ebay.co.uk are the same as they are for ebay.com (mainly North America).
