Seller sent wrong item but I can’t return it

So I recently bought something, when it got here it turns out it was some watch not even close to what I ordered so I contacted the seller they said they were sorry for the inconvenience but we can give you a discount for both if you also want to keep the watch like why would I want that when I already paid for what I wanted anyways I said no I would like a refund she said I would have to return the wrong item they sent in the first place the problem is I can’t ship it back since I don’t have transportation why should I have to go out my way to send it back when it was their mistake can I still get my money back if I open my case on PayPal or what should I do

in order to get your full money back you have to return the item. Would you expect to call Walmart and say that you received the wrong item from walmart. Com and just get a full refund rather than having to return the item? Know you would not.


If you have mail delivery at your house you can return the item.

Open a return request as Item Not As Described. Seller will have to supply a return label. Then schedule a USPS pkg pick up or give pkg to your mail carrier.

All you have to do is print the shipping label from the return case, and then schedule a pickup with USPS. You don't have to transport the package anywhere.

I just said I can’t they specifically asked to be shipped by usps how am I gonna get there are they gonna pay for my cab they made the mistake in the first place

You’ll have to figure something out then if you want a refund. Save the label as a PDF and have a friend or relative print it for you. Go to the library to print it. You don’t need cab fare to ship it out. You don’t even have to go to the PO. You print out the label, tape it to the box and hand it to your mail carrier. You can even go to the USPS website and schedule a pickup.

Why don't you try to place yourselves in their shoes...if you made the mistake do you think it's morally okay to let someone keep your item? Yes plenty of mistakes can occur especially with sellers that move larger volumes of product. You are essentially coming here asking people to assist you in being a thief, yes a thief since you want to keep something that does not belong to you and that you did not pay for, with all the excuses in the world to justify your actions.

Where there is a will there is a way and in this day and age it's certainly not hard to gain access to a printer and have something printed out. As another poster said, you can email the PDF to a friend or family member and ask them to print it out for you. You can also schedule the pickup via USPS or calling your local PO.

If that seller requests you return for refund you have to give it back, doesn't matter what case you open rather it be eBay or Paypal you WILL have to return for a refund. Amazes me the amount of buyers that think they are entitled to a free item because a mistake occurred. Remember that little pesky thing called karma? It does tend to come back around 😉

I know you don't want to send it back.

It's not your fault you were sent the wrong item. 

The probem is now in your hands to correct, if you want a refund, although you are being inconvenienced you still need to return the item you were sent.

You have a couple choices:

Keep it and be happy.

Return it for a refund.
