I received a Dyson hair dryer that was a Christmas present for my wife I checked the serial numbers and the dryer number didn't match that on the box and Guarantee. The seller accepted there was a problem and suggested I needed to wait for a returns note in the post. No note came so I organised return via Ebay and purchased the delivery cost on Ebay.
I returned the Item and when I checked it was not delivered and a note on the tracking said "person not known".
I contacted the seller who said he doesn't accept returns and that they have to go back to his supplier once I have got a returns note through the post.
I was offered 15 Euro compensation and told to wait for the returns note and the item to come back to me.
I don't agree with any of this and the Item cost 300 Euro so at this stage I don't have the Item or the money. The seller is an Ebay Guaranteed seller and therefore Ebay promise to honour any sales from this seller.
What should I do? I have tried the instructions to contact Ebay but when I open "return details" there is no option to contact Ebay.
