From what I have found from recent hours of searching eBay, I as Seller am supposed to change the weight & box dimensions of 1 of my Customer's orders but then put all the items he bought from several purchases into the box. This is another several-hundred dollar order. So when I buy Insurance at the Post Office to cover the actual contents do I have any leg to stand on if the PO loses/destroys the box/purchase, since the item number they will want printed will only document part of the contents from that single order chosen to represent the actual multiple-item number purchase? I appreciate any help someone can offer.

I wouldn't worry too much about insurance. Since the Covid outbreak the PO has denied every single claim I have had (2). Reading these boards it seems to be the normal for auto denial. They want the package brought into them. THen they will deny it for lack of adequate packing.

Combine and print your label from ebay. You will get a discount and all items will be covered for the total order value paid by the buyer.
For insurance rather than use USPS or ebay's Ship Cover insurance, consider using Ship Saver, it is cheaper and must easier to collect on claims.
