I have suddenly started having problems with my customers being overcharged for shipping when buying buying more than one of the same item.
I often offer a shipping discount when people purchase more than one of a specific item. I set up the listing so that after the buyer pays for shipping on the first item additional ones ship for free. Unfortunately now my customers are charged for the shipping of additional items. Ebay's best advice as of yesterday was to refund any over payment. This is a great way to lose a sale. Does anyone have a fix for this?
Along the same line I experienced a problem with a sale about two weeks ago. In this case one buyer ordered one of an item. The correct shipping was charged. A different person ordered one of the same item and was not charged for shipping.
Once again if anyone has a fix for this your assistance would be appreciated.
I believe Ebay has a problem with thier programing. Does anyone know how to get this info directly to thier IT department?
