Seller has a scan with a water mark on it.

I just bought a sports illustrated from a seller who has a scan with a water mark on it not and actually picture of the magazine he was selling. Got the magazine and it was **bleep**. Took pictures of it and sent them to him as well as ebay. Today he told me that the sports illustrated that I sent back wasn’t the one from the scan with the watermark he sent me. Gave me 50 % of my money and told me I had to get the rest from ebay. Tried to contact eBay and couldn’t get anyone on the phone just someone internet assistance. I am out $10.99 as of right now. Any idea how to plea my case? I want everyone to know my story and inform them of this pos seller.

File an Item Not as Described complaint through the resolution center.  That should eventually process out to a full refund.

No need to call eBay. Just open the case.

Re: Seller has a scan with a water mark on it.

You don't need to talk to eBay for the remainder of your refund. Just start a dispute for Not As Described here, then go back immediately and click Escalate to PayPal, if that how you paid.

Do not respond whatsoever if the seller contacts you now. Then, when PayPal instructs to return the rag, upload the tracking number that's already Delivered back, to get the rest of your refund.

Keep it in the Resolution Centre and add your tracking number for the returned item to the Dispute.

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this and most other pages.

Avoid human contact.

This is a simple Not As Described dispute and the robots are better at handling them than minimum wage clerks who are only looking forward to coffee break or quitting time.
