Hello friends,
I usually have very positive buying experiences on eBay. However my recent purchase has given me some trouble. I have paid for an item on 8/7/18. It has not yet shipped. I have tried contacting the seller and there was no response. Now recent feedbacks were left on the seller claiming that he is a fraud.
I have paid on Paypal. What can I do to get my money back? Is it possible?
Help very much appreciated.

You can file an item not received case with eBay 1 day after the latest delivery estimate. If this was perhaps a hijacked account, eBay should be pulling the listings very very soon so if that happens, you can file a case sooner-just use the “resolve a problem” next on your purchase history next to this item.

This sound just like a seller my husband recently purchased from. I schooled him on reviewing a seller's FB before buying as when I looked at it, it was clear to me this seller was bad news.
Your best recourse is as soon as you can open an Item Not Received case in Ebay, do so. You can do that 1 day PAST what the estimated time of arrival was on your purchase. You can find that on your purchase screen.
Good Luck. You will be fine, you will get your money back, but I'm very sorry you had to deal with this. Make sure you report your seller.

Thank you for the comments, as well as your sympathy.
Just to clarify the problem: I'm not talking about a case in which the item did not arrive on time. Rather, the item was not shipped at all within the designated shipping timeframe, and the seller does not respond to my mails. Recently feedbacks were received by other users that claim that this seller is a scammer.
Either way, if I understand the comments correctly, if I want to get my money back, the procedure is to wait until after the estimated delivery time expires, and then file "Item not received"? Can I leave feedback in the meantime to warn others?
Thanks

Yes, look at your purchase and see what it says the ETA is. One day past that if the item has not arrived, file what is called and INR = Item Not Received.
While I understand this seller is annoying. I NEVER recommend a buyer to leave feedback before the transaction is complete. I recommend you wait until you either recieve the item or you resolve your issue via an INR.
There could be extenuating circumstances you just aren't aware of yet. I understand your desire but it is not your responsibility to warn other buyers, especially since you may not have all the facts yet.
You are most likely right, but there is no way for you to know for sure at this point. I suggest you wait.

Thank you again for your help. I have received a mail from eBay this morning about the transaction being a scam, and that I can file a requet in the resolution center to get my money back. Minutes after doing that, I received a mail about the verdict of the case which was a full refund. I should see my money back within 48 hours.
I cannot thank you enough for your help!!
