I bought 2 games from a seller in Japan and after I had already purchased them, they asked me to give them both my full name and adress in English. I was confused since I thought they could just copy-paste the information that was given to them onto a label, then ship the package and let the postal service here do the work.
They said in their own words:
"Currently, when shipping, everything including the address and contents must be sent to your country in advance as an electronic invoice.
And the language must be English."
I had bought a few games from a different seller (also from Japan) in January and had given them the same information (again, not in English) and they delivered them to me without asking me any of this. The seller though has recieved almost exclusively positive ratings so maybe they aren't scamming me but even if the reason they give is legitimate, isn't it against Ebay's rules to give any personal/contact information (aside from names) through messages?
I would really appreciate any help because I've never had this happened to me before.

I don't know the specifics of shipping between Japan and Greece, but if the seller says customs documentation needs to be in English then send them your name/address in English. You already paid and the seller has your info in (presumably) Greek so it's not like you're sending them info they don't already have. It's OK to send the info through eBay messages since you already paid.
