Scam return using freight forwarding, eBay refusing to do anything

I was gotten by this same scam.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Shipping-Returns/New-scam-on-shipping-and-how-I-saved-mine-including-U...

What they did was order a $1 item from Amazon and eBay forced the refund based on the tracking number. Apparently my first call constituted an appeal, and now I have to eat the $295. eBay has facilitated this fraud. That's it for me. I'm done with eBay at this point. Selling is just too risky. Look out for this address, and other freight forwarding companies.

The thread you are referring to is about emails being sent to unsuspecting, and 'not paying attention' sellers being told by a thief to change the address (so I can steal from you).

How does what your statement and the thread you are referring to, play into how you were scammed?

If it is the 'email from a thief telling you to change the address' scam, that is fixable by you, the seller,  to never happen again.

Yeah I don’t see how that thread could be relevant.

Based on your post best I can get is that the buyer opened a return.  Purchased a cheap item from amazon and had it sent to you using that tracking number as proof of a return?   Of course freight forwarding doesn’t even have to be in play for someone to use this scam.

I'm sorry, I'm so **bleep** I didn't read carefully. I googled the address and came across multiple links reporting fraud relating to that address. I'll attempt to edit the original post. I just want to give everyone a heads up as the user, fumoi_0, has feedback since this incident indicating they did it again and this is the shipping address being used.
