This morning had a rather long and rather heated discussion with eBay service representatives. Reason: I was trying to Show them why a particular seller is a scammer. He is using a false (For my product purchase) USPS number to imply the item has been put into the USPS system. But this appears to be a Very Big Scam going on. The eBay representative noted that the item was given to OSM Worldwide. It took me two seconds to pull them up on TrustPilot and find almost 200 reviews noting that they are a scam and none of their tracking numbers are real. eBay needs to be more Responsive and Quicker when they are informed something like this is going on. This scammer is now (probably) continuing to scam people on eBay. eBay representatives gave me the ole we have to wait 3 more days or another week or whatever because they SEE the tracking number. I Continue to Tell them the tracking number is FALSE and read the reviews about this so-called shipper on TrustPilot. eBay needs service representatives who can think for themselves and not just routinely mutter some stuff they've learned to say. This allows eBay to continue to be a great site. Do note: I've bought tons of stuff on eBay and love the site. That's why I don't want to see this happening. It should also be reported to the attorney general's office.

What makes you think the tracking number is false? What do you see when you enter the tracking number into a USPS search? Can you post a screenshot of the results of your tracking search?
Have you actually opened a request for a refund based on "Item Not Received" (INR)? If eBay's return process makes you wait, then you'll have to wait, but at least you will already have the return request filed . . .
200 reviews out of the seller's 3.3 million sales isn't all that bad, frankly, and eBay cannot judge your transaction based on other buyers' transactions. I'm sure you can understand that.
Just as a side note, I've purchased from that seller a number of times and have never had a problem. All of the tracking numbers I've received from that seller have been "real."
Good luck!
