Shipped a keyboard and got a notification that they are returning the item. No explanation why nothing. Even if they fully refund me I lose money and time that took me to buy packing materials etc.

If the buyer filed an INAD, you'll be giving a full refund, plus you'll have to pay return shipping.

Just who is returning , the buyer or the shipping service ? Did you ship it to the buyer or use an eBay service where you shipped it to them and they send it over seas?

Returns are part of online selling. No way around it if you get one. The buyer did select a reason for the return but buyers are not obligated to expound.
Get the keyboard back and sell it again. If it sold once it will likely sell again. Good luck.

I've had similar happen. Pitney Bowes is hopeless. I think what's happening is if they can't figure out what an item is or what tariff code to apply, they just send it back to the seller and say it's restricted in the destination country. Sometimes even the name of the item in the listing can cause them to not want to forward a package if they're confused by it.
