When a buyer makes a purchase on eBay, he sees an estimated delivery date.  By purchasing, he is signifying that he's willing to wait for that date or a few days past it for his purchase to arrive.

If/when a buyer hasn't received his item within a few days past its estimated delivery date, he has 30 days to open an item not received case with eBay.

But I am sure you know that.

Most sellers ship quickly. Now if you happen to purchase an item from an overseas seller, then you must wait patiently for all the international shipping paperwork, transit time, & Customs fun. Be careful when you say "cheaper"......you get what you pay for!
