WHY IS EBAY NOT GIVING THE CORRECT ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME MY ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME SHOW MY ITEM DELIVERY TIME IS ONE DAY BEFORE MY  EVEN SHIP IT THEY NEED TO CORRECT IM NOT GETTING ANYWERE WITH EBAY ON THIS ISSUE I SHUT DOWN MY SITE UNTILL THEY FIX THE ISSUE

Because eBay uses "historical" shipping time as opposed to your actual handling time when calculating estimated delivery dates. So if you have 3 day handling but typically ship within 1 day, eBay will calculated estimated delivery dates based on 1 day handling.

We (sellers) hate how this sets unreasonable expectations for buyers when we need to rely on the longer handling time. But the good news is your late shipping metrics will not be affected as long as you ship within your stated handling time.

The system was set up this way many years ago and eBay has fiercely defended their stance on using historical shipping data. I don't see them changing it any time in the near future, if ever.

I SHUT  DOWN MY SITE UNTIL THEY FIX THE ISSUE

Your site is still running. I clicked on 2 items and it says estimated shipping arrival date  April 22-27. I am in NY.  VEry often the estimated dates are wrong especially on the east coast to west coast sales.  And for those to Hawaii, they are unrealistic.  I will send an email to a buyer if the date is unrealistic. I tell them to blame it on ebay and of course, when I do email them, I am about to ship their item.  But I email and tell them to please be patient especially if there is bad weather somewhere in the country and the item is travelling first class mail.

When looking at your own listing, they will show you the estimated date of delivery to your own address, not elsewhere in the country. I'm seeing a 5-day Handling time on your listings and an estimated delivery date range of April 22-27, which would assume a 3-day travel time when mailed within the coming 5 days. That's not unrealistic, IMHO.
