Now it's lost after seller has been the rudest I have ever dealt with for years
They summited claim for mail insurance and now we don't even have it or a refund. Almost 40 Dollars slot for me. They only complain and act very rude. I need my money back.

You do not need to call. You don't need insurance. You have the money back guarantee. (MBG)
File an item not received claim in the resolution center. The link is located at the bottom of every Ebay page.
Follow the prompts. The seller must prove delivery to you, which they cannot. You get refunded.
Having said that, the mails are severely backlogged right now due to unprecedented volume (holidays plus more people shopping online due to Covid) and staffing issues (half the workforce of the carriers are out sick or quarantined due to Covid). More than double the volume with half the staff to handle it. It's going to be slow...painfully slow at times. Things are going to get lost.
The time to order holiday items was last month.

You're probably hitting the nail squarely, so your response makes me wonder: should postal workers be deemed as essential workers, in the light of peoples well being, and would it be prudent for them to receive the vaccine prior to those on the hill, you know, the ones who get paid for full time work but only "really" work part time. Just curious what your opinion is, on that subject, due to the nature of the op's post.

The seller shipped within one day and it's only been 8 days it's not lost in fact it shows out for delivery today. Since it was guaranteed delivery if you no longer need it once it gets delivered you can return it for a refund. You can also just get a five dollar credit for it being late.

Absolutely. Not just USPS, but Fedex and UPS as well.
And those on the Hill...they don't work and haven't worked worth a toot since the 1980s.

I like your opinion and well said.
You know, it's no secret, I'm a old goat with medical probs. And nowadays the once green, lushly grass pastures seem to be dark and dry, no matter where I go.
I go to the doctor and ask for some help with my medical probs and they tell me "sure, but we need some cash from you first, and some insurance too." I tell them "I ain't got no cash, but I got a tiny bit of insurance." They tell me "that won't do, if you don't have any cash, we can't help you." So, I ask the doctor "give me some cash, so that you can help me;" they walk away and ask me to leave and they give me some info about a nut house. "Ugh".
