Bringing up a question for the 3rd time concerning the same situation. Seems like it's always one thing or another concerning this return.
I was sold a misrepresented item. The seller refused to accept a return and seemed convinced it was perfectly okay to sell me an item completely different from the description. Ebay sided with me when I opened a case, I generated the return shipping label, mailed it off that same day. Tracking said it should be delivered today - instead I have a "delivery status not updated" alert. I don't know if they will or won't update the status to delivered, I don't know if they just haven't delivered it....my main worry is, will eBay refuse to refund my money because USPS is messing up? By the time they do update the status to delivered, if they do, it may be past the date that eBay said I had to send the item back by - not sure if that date was the last day for me to mail it or the date by which it needed to be received. No point in talking more to the seller about whether she got i - she was dishonest and like talking to a brick wall, I think she'd be thrilled to keep my money, of course. Has anyone else dealt with this, is there anything more I need to do?
