Return shipping label

Hi,

 

My return was accepted and the seller sent me a shipping label. I printed them and sent. But in ebay system, there is nothing change. I thought, after I printed the label, Ebay should update that I return the item. Now my case was like I have not sent it yet and could be close without refund. Does any one know how to mark the item as shipped? There is a tab beside "print shipping label" like "marked shipped" to provide the tracking number but when I did that, the system warned me like "the number existed in system, you need to provide valid number"???? What the hell is that?

 

Please help me!

@alex_bui_93 Try adding the tracking number. If it wasn’t issued by eBay-if it doesn’t say “return service” on it then the seller generated it himself and may not have uploaded the tracking number. If you can’t upload it yourself, call customer service immediately and have them add it for you. Good luck!

When did you print the label?
If you printed the label & used it then watch the return case for check marks in the circles. 
You cannot upload the number if it was printed through ebay the number would already have been loaded & you will get this.  It already exists

You may be the first to notice and report that --

eBay is no longer monitoring the return tracking number that it itself issued.

And if that's true, these boards will be lighting up soon.

Incorrect, all sellers have the OPTION of generating a return label themselves and sending it to the buyer for a return.  (For international sales this is the ONLY way to generate a return label, short of sending the buyer money to purchase one).

 

This DOES NOT mean the seller refused the return.  Your statement is not correct and your following bullet points give invalid instructions to the buyer.  I removed your bullet points as they instruct the buyer to COMMIT MAIL FRAUD!

 

What the buyer needs to do is input the tracking number into the return details, they can view/reprint the label in order to see who the shipper was and the tracking number.  If and ONLY IF the tracking number is invalid (check on both eBay and the shipping company site) should the buyer contact eBay.

1. Call ebay CS and tell them the seller has refused to accept the return.

 > Ebay CS should do this for you now, please.

2. Once the return is accepted you can then print a label issued by ebay.

> Now, by using "application behavior" you can stick that label on anything you like, a blank envelope or a small empty box, maybe fill it with newspaper and send it on its way.

3. Once the tracking of the return label shows delivered you will want to wait until you can escalate the case.

I think perhaps you should re-read the Op. one of the first things he said is “my return was accepted”. The seller has not taken the return off eBay. The seller hasn’t done anything wrong. Most of understood the situation just fine.
