I was granted a refund on a damaged in shipping item. Ebay contacted the seller as the seller had in the listing a 'no return' policy.
I received the refund notice from Ebay and then a message email to print the return label. I went to the help section and read all the instructions and kept trying. No label after clicking on the link.
I contacted the seller, who claimed Ebay charged them for the return label and it is my problem to sort out.
Thinking it is not my problem. If the seller paid for the return label, they should be in contact with Ebay for paying for something that didn't work?
Discussion with the seller is at a standstill. They want the damaged item back. I want to ship it to them, but with the return label offered by Ebay, which the seller insists she paid for.
Any suggestions?

Once the seller gave your refund, it closed the case and you won't be able to get a return shipping label through Ebay.
Tell the seller, since the case is closed, if they want the item back, they need to send you a prepaid shipping label.

Find the return in the resolution center below and print the return shipping label from there.

Thank you for the reply. Good to know how to find that section of Ebay.
The thing is this: The resolution on this transaction has been closed as the refund was given. The label can only be printed up until the time Ebay closes the case.
I found this out by talking with Ebay very early this morning. I got a very good agent and they went over the correspondence between seller/buyer.
The seller keeps sending emails that contain "you better send these back or else". I asked Ebay what to do. I found out the seller will be refunded for the return label once the window for scanning into the PO system times out on 11/9. So, they will not lose the money they were charged for the return label. I am glad for that.
I write all of this so that others that may have a similar situation will understand how this works. I have been fortunate to always have items I have bought well packed for shipping and the items arrived just fine.
So, the real takeaway here is this: advise your buyers that the labels can time out once the refund is granted and Ebay closes the case. I had to wait 2 days to get to a printer and in that short time, the case closed. Buyers in a similar situation need to get that label printed before the case closes.
I was advised that once the seller receives the refund of label, they can buy a label from another online source or just send me the postage money and I can use it to go the PO counter and mail. I don't mind that what is sent may be a very little less than the retail window. Closing the gap on the shipping back will be just fine for me.
I can understand that sellers get 'taken' by buyers. I just found this forum last night and read many of the topics. I am not one of those buyers and have worked hard at correspondence with the seller. The " or else" emails are not helping getting us to where we both want to be. Thanks again for the tip if I ever need it again.

This answer is probably too late for you. If so, hopefully it will help someone else.
It may be the browser you are using. I normally use Google Chrome but when I try to print a label for a return it will just print a blank page. But, if I use Explorer then it will print the label.

I had to switch from Chrome to Explorer. Then the link worked just fine
