Hi,
Buyer asked me for a return and I accepted. But it looks like he changed his mind and didn't ship my item by 8/29. Ebay also mentioned if he didn't ship before 8/29, they may close the case. But today is 8/31 and the case is still opening? My money is still in an ebay hold, I need it now for a new business. Does any one know how to deal this problem?
Thanks

Call eBay and request the case be closed as buyer is in default on their obligation. eBay won't close a case automatically.

Call ebay? Like that ever works out. Haha.

Did your seller give you a refund --
even though eBay never showed you mailed the return label?
Or only after you called eBay, as there was no button to ask eBay to step in it.

As stated above you can call eBay and have the return closed in your favor. HOWEVER, be aware the buyer can still file a return request via Paypal (180 days) and then a credit chargeback if they paid by CC. Three bites at the apple. Don't count your money until the fat lady sings.

Sorry but it will work in the OP's case. I actually had the opportunity to do so in a same situation and it worked for me.

Of course, in the case of a PayPal return the buyer would have to pay the return shipping. With regard to a credit card chargeback, I believe that the buyer would be required to return the goods or the chargeback could be determined to be fraud.
