Return item - return not closed after 4 weeks

 So buyer opened return request about 4 weeks ago, i did accept it right away as it was does not fit return and buyer pays postage.

For some reason return has not closed yet after 4 weeks of nothing happening and now it says delivered? How? There is no tracking number or other information after me accepting return, i have not received the item.

So my question is - what happens next? Do i need to contact eBay before 11th, after 11th or it will auto close? If so in whose favour, my or buyers?

Report a problem - can only report about returned item, that's not good as i have not received anything as of today.

Nope, completely ignore that message. It just means that the 10 business days to mail the return label, plus the 5 business days to check for a scan, will elapse on Mar 11.

After that, eBay will quietly pick up its marbles and automatically close the return.

Can you see the details of the Return under 'Cases'? Is there no tracking number? It's always best to be proactive, but... if the return label's tracking number shows as delivered, eBay will auto close the Return in the buyer's favor.

There is no case open at resolution center, only case see it while checking item or while browsing messages. Also as i did mention there is no tracking provided by the buyer as far as i can see. No notification about return either.

Well, I'm confused then. The screen shot makes me think there's a Return open. It's been a long time since I've had one... maybe someone else will come along. Sorry...

Return is not showing up as return but i can access return information if checking sold item or eBay messages.

From the link, I see that the item was delivered to the buyer on January 23rd... it doesn't reference the item being returned to you. (The Return was opened on January 29th.) Buyers have forever and a day to return something, and maybe your buyer decided to keep it. If you haven't gotten it back by now, you may be able to contact eBay and get the Return closed. I still don't know why you can't see it... I'm just as puzzled.

I would not disregard the notice, I would chat with Ebay to see what information they can provide about the case.

It looks like they would provide a refund to the buyer on the 11th.

So return closed at some point without refund to the buyer. 

Did not bother contacting eBay because chat support is TERRIBLE... They just read script and do not help at all.

Expected it to happen like this because of no information about item being returned.

completed my buyers return and refund, case still wont close says buyer has to confirm refund, buyer says she dont see an option to confirm and rudely will not help me. what do i do? ebay says case will close itself yesterday, but nothing has changed
