I opened a case for an item not received and when item arrived it was not as described so I had to close the not received case and open a return case, but although I had eBay message to show case started, it does not appear in resolution centre so I have no way to ask eBay to get involved if refund not received. Unable to ring eBay as number not taking calls. No live chat available. Help please.

go to 'my ebay' then to 'purchases' then scroll down to the bottom and 'returning purchases' are shown there.

The item does show in cancelled and return cases at bottom of purchases, but there is no option to ask eBay to get involved from there. It simply shows option to check status of return, but no option there either to get eBay involved. Very frustrating. Cannot understand why case not showing in resolution centre. I have returned an item in past, which did show as an open case in resolution case.

There should be a link in the e-mail you got that you can click on to take you to the return page.

The link in the message simply takes you to check status of the return, and as in last comment......no way of getting eBay involved from there.

You can't ask eBay to step in until a certain number of days have passed. Look at the date in the e-mail you received. You're not going to see a link to ask eBay to step in before that date.

I will ensure I have waited the 8 days to see if option appears. If it doesnt....
Do you know the email address for customer services as there is also a time limit in which you have to ask eBay to get involved. I cannot find an email on eBay UK site.
Do you have an idea why the return case is not showing in resolution centre?
