Hello,
I am new to this discussion board.
I recently bought a soap dispenser and upon receiving the I checked it and found out that it was not working. This is a rechargeable soap dispenser. So I sent a few messages to the seller and the seller didn't reply. Then after opening a return request the seller replied and asked me to send a video to which I made a video and sent it to the seller via YouTube. After the seller saw this, the seller said that I will have to pay for the return shipping and once the seller receives the item the seller will refund me. But I told the seller that it's not according to Ebay terms. And seller didn't reply. Then just 1 day before I could Escalate the case to Ebay the seller accepted the return but then again refused to send me the return label. I sent uncountable messages to the seller but the seller doesn't reply. And I am stuck as the time to return the item is closing in and the seller is ignoring and there is no way to Escalate the case and I have sent emails to Ebay Customer Service everyday for the past 2 weeks but have had no response. I don't know what to do the price of the item is quite alot and I don't want to lose my money.
Is anyone else in a similar situation where the Ebay Customer Service Team are not responding to any messages?
Please Help Someone.

This is a well-known eBay returns loophole to accept the return but never provide a return label. The buyer is stalled with no way to escalate the request. That's because eBay is simply waiting for a tracking number which shows the return was delivered back to the seller.
To escape the impasse, send a private message to eBay with your name, email, and postal code at Facebook or Twitter and ask to ESCALATE your return.
Response time is running about a day now; just be patient and eBay will take care of you.

If it's 30 days or less from delivery date, file an item not as described case with ebay. Do that in the resolution center. Link at bottom of page. If it's past that, you have to file with paypal if that is how you paid. They make you pay the return shipping however. So, the ebay case is better if it's not out of time.

(I really wish eBay would automate these MBG claims with foreign sellers ... it is frustrating to see good buyers lied to and abused like this).

First, stop believing anything that comes from this seller, or following any direction he is giving you ... he is intentionally trying to get you to lose your ability to get a refund.
Second, now that the seller has accepted the return, the seller must "accommodate" return shipping or give you a refund. In order to accommodate return shipping, you send the seller a quote for how much the item costs to ship back to them using TRACKED shipping (assuming this is China, not all services to China are trackable), and the seller must send you the money to your PayPal account before you ship ... they probably won't do this, but this is the approach that eBay has laid out.
Finally, after the seller accepts the return, then eBay should only give the seller 5 business days to either refund your money or accommodate return shipping. If they do neither, then you should be able to "ask ebay to step in" on the 6th business day in order to get a refund. If you are not able to do that, then you would need to contact eBay customer service.
