Return Request Cannot Be Processed

Hello,

I opened a return request for an item, and susequently closed that request shortly thereafter.  I still need to return the item (it was not received as described in the auction), but now eBay won't let me proceed with reopening the request I closed or start a new return request with the seller.

Is there a way to get around this?

If you paid via PayPal, you can open a request there. Ebay doesn't allow more than one of the same request to be opened. Why did you close the case prior to it being resolved?

However, with PayPal you will most likely be required to pay yourself for the return shipping.
