A buyer requested a replacement for a CD that arrived with a cracked case. I shipped it today, but the case does not update to show this, even though I printed the shipping label through the case. So I tried to manually update the case to shipped, but it wouldn't accept the Tracking #, get a message saying the number is already in ebays system and I need to enter a different #. I obviously can't do this since I don't have a different #. Ebay doesn't seem to have any phone support right now and the email support basically said "don't worry". Not sure what to do now.

The tracking number should update once package gets a scan

If it was paid with pay pal, put the new tracking number into their system and you will be covered.

You can also send the tracking number of the replacement to your customer through the eBay messaging system.
We had to send a replacement part before and the service rep told me to also send the customer a message with the new tracking number and that eBay will see that and use that also to show you did send the replacement and protect you.
