At work yesterday our Postmaster read off the new guidelines for suspicious mail.
I heard something that I have been noticing lately. People have been cutting off the return address from their on-line labels. I have even gotten a few myself, these have also been short postage but that is another issue.
As of now packages without return addresses even if the postage is printed on-line are to be considered suspicious mail.
Since they no longer possess a return address these most likely will be sent off to unclaimed and the package opened, and contents put up for auction.
DO NOT remove your return address.
