Refund

I am trying to pay a buyer a partial refund on an item and I keep getting a message that it won’t go through. I need help with this ASAP.

Are you on managed payments??

Is there enough funds to do a refund. Paypal or MP?

Remember payment methods take out cost.  You may not have the funds to do a refund.

With Pay Pal, you have to have enough cleared funds in your account to process the refund.

I'd guess PayPal and maybe the funds are short, or on hold as the OP is a new seller.

In MP, if you don't have enough in 'Pending' to issue a refund, the difference is billed to the Auto Pay method the seller has set to pay eBay fees.

Well We do agree so far its a lack of funds. Seems PayPal is no longer floating to cover such refunds.

They quit pulling funds from your funding source for refunds around the first of the year.
