Refund

Hi, 

So I purchased a vehicle on eBay , made the transaction if $6500, I made the transaction on 03/06/2020 and was successful from my account, then I received and email from Karen Brading who is the Financial department Manager eBay stating that there was a technical problem with the account on there end and it had been fixed so they were going to refund my money back, and send me a new invoice to do the whole process again, 

They also said it was going to take 3-5 business days for my money to be refunded, it has now gone way pass the 5 business days and still yet no money, 

Can someone help me

Did you pay for this sale with ebay gift cards or a money order or another untraceable method? Was the car going to be shipped to you free, and you had so many days to inspect it? Did the seller have a sad story about being in the military or losing their husband and needing to sell fast? Did you find the car on Craigslist or Facebook? If so, then I'm sorry to say you were scammed. The messages that looked like they were from ebay, where actually just from the scammer. If so to all these, your money is gone, there is no car.

Please help the next guy by reporting the bogus ad on the website where you found it.

This looks like a scam.  Don't send money anywhere ... if you already have, then I am so very sorry because you likely have been scammed.

(Also, eBay will not communicate to you from "payments-e.com", but from ebay.com).

Unfortunately, I agree with the others, it appears you have been scammed. The email address from eBay would be @eBay.com or @customerservice.eBay.com or something else like that. An email address like the one you received the email(s) from could be anyone, anywhere. I got a phishing scam email today from netflix@hotmail.com which I reported to Netflix as a scam, your eBay@payments-e.com  follows the same logic. If you paid through PayPal you may some options with them to get your money back, so definitely contact them. If not, I would contact your bank and either way contact local law enforcement. Sorry this happened to you!

One more thing, don't send them any more money. They are probably going to keep communicating with you to see if they can scam you for more money. Don't keep being tricked.

That message didn't come from Ebay.

Did you find the vehicle on Ebay or another site?

How did you pay? Right through official eBay website checkout? Through PayPal friends and family or goods and services? MoneyGram? Western Union? Cheque? Money order? Credit card?
