Refund for a non working item

Hello all,

I have a really frustrating case. I bought an item from a seller. The item that I received is not working and I contacted the seller. He/She asked to provide a video with my problem (although I had already sent photos). Now the seller is not responding to my messages, there is no option for a refund for the item (as I understand, you have to do it within 60 days) and when I try to send an email to ebay, the form is not working (it is blank).

Any advice on how to contact ebay and get the refund would be appreciated.

Re: Refund for a non working item

You have 30 days from the last shown delivery date in which to open a not as described case through the Resolution Center.

If that time is past, you need to open the case through PayPal.

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.

There's no PayPal in Greece. OP @kounabia how did you fund your purchase?

Thank you for your replies.

So, eBay covers you only for 30 days and then you are on your own?

By the way the order in my Purchase history appears as non delivered.

@dede394 Paypal is working just fine for Greece. There was a restriction due to capital controls, but now it is almost over.

eBay's buyer protection (Money Back Guarantee) is for 30 days after you receive your item, or 30 days after the expected delivery of the item (if not received).   If an item arrives "not as described" or broken, then they require the seller to pay for return shipping.

PayPal's buyer protection is for 180 days after the purchase date.   PayPal requires the buyer to pay for return shipping of the item, but they have a program that reimburses some returns.
