Refund for Scam

Hi all,

I bought a nintendo switch last week and long story short I got scammed out of $300. UPS said my package was delivered, but nothing came. The seller added the tracking number when it was delivered and it even says it went to my area, but I was home all day and did not see a truck. I went back to the seller profile and there were 2 new negative feedback, both claiming the same.

I opened up a case, but I'm worried that I won't get my money back because the package is technically "delivered". Is this something I have to prove somehow or will eBay still be in favor of the buyer for this?

Ebay will find in the sellers favor.

Contact UPS directly, and find out were this was delivered.

It really sounds like the first thing you should do is take all the info and stop by the local USP office.

1)    Where does the UPS system show the item being dropped off?    Your house?    If not,   Why not?

2)   What does the driver have to say?     Can he say for sure where the package was dropped off?

3)  Have you spoken to all your neighbors?    Might one of them have the package?

4)  Package theft?     Has there been ant Porch Pirate activity in your town?

Have you done anything at all to try to locate the package other than file a case against the seller?

If you paid by credit card, contact your card company. Most offer protection of their own.  Always pay by card for at least the high value purchases.
