I don't sell much - but recently sold a pair of sneakers - I received payment with a verified address - after I shipped it buyer informed me she had provided a bad address. I have been working with USPS - they have declared package lost. I have input a request for insurance. Buyer wants her money back - I keep saying we are waiting on USPS but she is insisting. Do I have any recourse? I am going to be out merchandise, payment, postage expense, eBay fees - I lose all the way around. I feel like we wait for insurance claim to be paid or come up with a compromise - she caused this mess that has taken hours of time and is still not resolved. Any help or insight? Thanks!

If the package was lost by USPS, you'll have to refund the buyer.
The buyer doesn't have to wait for you to file a insurance claim.

If she gave you a bad address - it is on her. You shipped to the address she provided - there is no way for you to know that her address was bad before you sent it. I had the same thing happen and had to fight tooth and nail as the item was delivered to that address and yet chargebacks were filed because they did not live there anymore. I did my part - I sent my item to the address you provided and it shows delivered. End of story. Tell her to back off.
