New seller needing help from veteran sellers please!
I received a text which I think is a scam. It was from *** and read "The USPS package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link.
(Please reply to 1, then exit the SMS, open the SMS activation link again, or copy the link to Safari browser and open it)
The US Postal team wishes you a wonderful day!"
Is this a scam? I did not do anything with it.

It's fake.
A real message from USPS has a USPS.com extension.
ETA: You don't want to click or respond. You have no package.

Disclaimer... I am not a veteran seller. BUT - any time I get an email from any entity that tells me I have an issue that I am totally unaware of ( ie., misdirected package I didn't order, or confirmation of credit card info or personal ID to complete an action I didnt personally initiate) I completely ignore it.
If an official communication reaches you, you will fully know when it happens. Also, chances are better that it's a bona fide message if it applies to an event that only you are aware of (ie., specific order for an item bought or sold, banking account info, etc.).
The rest are relying on you to have your guard down and jumping the gun to respond to the " emergency". The old saying " trust - but verify" applies here.

Plus, the US postal service never " wishes you a wonderful day".
And warehouse? What warehouse. USPS doesn't have a " warehouse"... They have very specific distribution centers that can easily be inserted into the message for clarity. This email screams " boiler room scheme".
Always check incoming messages for grammatical errors, mis-spelling and the use of non - standard phrasing and terminology that imply someone not well versed in English composed the message in a sweat shop somewhere.

This type of fraud is not limited to USPS.
I have gotten the same sort of message about a UPS package or a FedEx package.

Original post is from 09/28/23. If you're having a similar issue, perhaps it would be a good idea to start your own thread?
