Receive an item back while shipping

While I was still new to selling, I had someone purchase a graphics card from me, and after I shipped it, they never paid. The item has not been delivered and still remains at the post office, I don't think the address on the lable was correct because tracking kept saying "No such number", then said return to sender proceeded. But that was almost 2 weeks ago, and I still don't have it back yet. Is this normal? Is there something I have to do to get it back? I already went through eBay for the unpaid item case however I have yet to actually receive said unpaid item

Receive an item back while shipping

You should always wait until you receive payment, or a payment status of "pending", before you ship an item. Pending just means eBay withheld your money since you're new to selling.

In this case, since the address was incorrect and it's being sent back you should receive it assuming that your address was inputted correctly when making the account. Nowadays, 2 weeks is not that long so I would give it more time.

I recently have about 10 items over 2-3 weeks, and two of which are over 4 weeks, that are still in transit and is expected to arrive late.  There are articles online explaining that USPS does not have enough air transportation for the packages, increase in voting ballots, etc. Many sellers/buyers are experiencing the same frustration.

The best way to track if from home is to copy and paste your tracking number into the USPS website. The tracking history on the USPS website is more detailed than eBay's. You may also want to contact your local post office to ask if they can manually track the package in the system.

Good luck, and hope your package arrives shortly.
