I purchased an item on eBay a few days ago and received a different item than what was shown in the pictures. When I contacted the seller about it they replied saying they were sorry and that when they run out of the original item then a replacement is sent instead that is of the same size and functionality. This was not stated in the listing so I initiated a return. The listing said that for returns buyer pays for return shipping. When I read eBay's article about returning items it says if I received an item that doesn't match the description or pictures then the seller pays for return shipping. Well I am at the page now where it says "print return label." Who pays for shipping in this case and if I click this button will I be charge for the return shipping? I'm just confused how this will work in this situation. Thanks for any help.

Then the seller will be billed for the return label. You would be shown the cost of the label before you print it along with a confirmation that you are paying for it before you print it if you are the one paying for it. But if you opened for that reason, the seller will be paying for the return.
