Question about buyer returning item in damaged condition

Hi all,

I listed an old IPhone 7  recently and the buyer is returning it to me because the home button and cameras not working, however, the cameras were working fine before I shipped them out to the buyer. I even had taken a few photos with it to prove so. The buyer returned the phone, but now neither camera is working. I believe the buyer purposefully damaged the cameras as it was packaged correctly and there is no reason as to why the would just stop working. What can I do in this situation and can Ebay help me?

Question about buyer returning item in damaged condition

If the buyer returned the phone under an Item Not As Described claim.  You need to refund them.  Read up on eBay's Money Back Guarantee.

In reality you cannot prove the phone was fully functional when the buyer received it.  eBay will side with your buyer.
