Question about USPS tracking terminology.

Howdy!  I had a package sent to a buyer and for several days the tracking said "available for pick-up".....now it says "delivered to Agent"......what/who is this agent?  Do they mean the buyer?  Thanks!

Either the buyer or someone they authorized picked it up
