Question: Why

eBay should include the order number on the "Online Label Record" that is produced when a seller purchases a shipping label.  As is stands now, one must compare the buyer's ID with the shipping history in order to be sure about details.  For example, a buyer purchased two identical items from us using two identical purchases.  In order to save on shipping we notified the buyer that we would ship both items in one box.  The buyer agreed and we did so.  Now, almost one month later eBay sent us a reminder to ship one of the items we included in the shipment for the duplicate items the buyer ordered.  A real pain in you know where!!!!!

Question: Why

Did you print a label through eBay?

Did you use the combine option when you generated that label?

Do  both sales have a tracking number? The same tracking number?

Question: Why

Sounds like you forgot to add tracking to the second transaction.

In the future there are 2 ways to handle it.

The first is using the combine link on the bulk shipping page. It will automatically add tracking to both transactions.

The second is to purchase the label through one of the transactions, then go to the second transaction and manually add the tracking number.
