Question Regarding PIP-Claim.

Hello all.

I sold a card through eBay's standard envelope service and the buyer has opened an INR. It has been stuck on "out for delivery" for nearly a week now. I did some digging and apparently I should be covered (or at least partially covered?) if I file a PIP-Claim. There's still 10 days to go before I can file the claim however and I doubt my buyer wants to wait that long for a resolution. If I refund them now, will that null my insurance?

Thank you in advance for the assistance.

No, refunding the buyer won't affect your eligibility to file a PIP claim at all. Since you can't file until the item has been idle for at least 30 days, you should definitely refund before they escalate the case to eBay.
