I purchased a cell phone back in July 2017 from a seller and I'm positive I purchased the buyer protection plan. I can't search back far enough in my purchase history to confirm it. The phone has had constant issues with freezing up and I made several attempts to fix it. It would work well for a while and then act up again. And now the seller says he can't accept a return on it. What if anything would the protection plan cover with this issue? I know I should have sent it back sooner, but it was the only phone I had and I could get it to work with factory resets and firmware updates. It would work great for a week or 2 and then freeze up and restart loop on me.

Ebay does not sell a buyer protection plan. There is a 30 day money back guarantee but that is not a warranty, it just means you will get the item you purchased or your money back. Your purchase history goes back 3 years, you will need to use the full website to view it. You can change the date range to the years 2017, 2016 and 2015. If you purchased a square trade or assurant warranty, it should show on your purchase history and you would have received purchase confirmations also. if you did purchase a warranty then the seller is not involved in that, you have to contact whoever the warranty is through 🙂
