Hi,
long story short I bought an item and recieved something different then the description. The seller wants me to pay return shipping so they issued me a refund and ebay sent me a message saying the case was closed. I do want to return it but they sent me a different address and asked me to return it outside of ebays system... They are now threatening to open a case with ebay if I don't send it back, I want to send it back but I wish they could have just paid the return shipping or if there was a way for ebay to moderate the transaction, what should I do?
Thanks!

You have done everything you can, so at this point I would simply stop replying to the seller. In cases of an item not as described it is the seller's responsibility to pay for return shipping. If they refuse to do this, you are not under any obligation to return the item.

The case is closed and eBay said you do not need to return the book. The seller will not be able to open a case or do anything to get their money back. If you do want to return the book, tell the seller they need to send you a prepaid label for you to use. There is no reason you should pay for returning this.
