Wonderful news (INR) from a buyer in the UK that the $200.00 order I mailed May 30th is MIA
Tracking shows all sorts of movement and then it stopped on June 6th
I'm clueless as to what to do. Do I file for a lost package thru the USPS knowing in
advance their system won't recognize the ESUS tracking?
Thanks in advance for any help.
June 6th: Data received by US carrier. Any idea what that means?

Look in your sold items and click the transaction. Do you see a new international tracking #? If yes, can you post that number here? For now, do NOT refund. It's ebay that has to refund. Tell the buyer to hold tight. You will get back to them.
In the EIS program, ebay refunds. I am not sure what is the procedure but YOU do NOT refund.

I've talked to the buyer. He's a good guy and we've had
transactions in the past.
I'll look again, But I don't see any tracking info other than what I posted here.

Let him know that under this program, it's ebay that will do the refunding. Wait until tomorrow and see if there is an update. I had 3 transactions to Canada and one took 5 weeks for the item to arrive. The foreign tracking #s did not show up right away but I knew that it had departed the facility.
Ask the buyer if he sees a tracking # on his end. The foreign one that shows that the item departed the US facility.

In theory, Ebay will handle the INR claim.
There is a definite problem with Ebay International Shipments to the UK.
Long delays with no scans. Different results on various tracking sites.
Seems to be tied to the Assendia being replaced by DHL.

Elk Grove Village, Illinois has had so many problems in the past. Even with just delivering ordinary letters to people in that city. It was a big story last year with people complaining on not getting mail living there.
People were getting bills in the mail that were so late.

I uploaded the tracking number the same as I would for any INR case.
I made it clear that it was an ESUS shipment and also put that in the comment section.
So far, Nothing from ebay other than a typical INR case, Upload the tracking, etc, etc.
I guess the ball's in their court.
$200.00 lost shipment won't make my insomnia any easier tonight.

Hi @dirk12955
As @ms.rodriguez* mentioned eBay refunds not you and you need to tell your Buyer that. The tracking number you posted here is the eBay International standard delivery service tracking number ... your package was "supposed" to go to a US hub then resent by eBay to the Buyer ...
eBay international standard delivery | eBay
eBay forced one of those shipments on me and tracking ENDED at the US facility in KY ... and eBay does not update your tracking history for the international portion of the shipment ... I have no clue if the Buyer got their item or not ... to me it was like the package went into a black hole ...

Correction ... it went to an eBay facility in Elk Grove, IL ... I just went back and check and eBay FINALLY updated tracking and showed it was delivered June 8 after being purchased May 9 ... duh, a month to go to Canada from the US?? Sorry folks, but that's poor service.

Poor service is right. Considering if I'd sent the normal way with USPS tracking, the
customer would have received about 30 days ago.
