Problem Shipping to Tokyo Japan using the Global Shipping Service

I have someone in Tokyo Japan wanting to purchase an ebay item from me using the Global Shipping Service. He tried using the buy it now feature & pay with paypal but message saying that   " THIS ITEM DOES NOT SHIP TO TOKYO JAPAN. " Is anyone aware of specific price, weight etc restrictions to Tokyo Japan?? The item is a musical amplifier. It weighs approximately 28lbs It's shipping in a box 18 x 16 x 10. I checked all the information on the Global Shipping web page on the ebay site & it didn't mention anything that would prevent it from being shipped. I also have Global service checked on my listing page. I contacted an ebay rep who checked into it & saw there was an issue but could offer me no reason for why. It's very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Just looked at your auction and has shipping to U.S. only.  I don't see anything about global shipping. Maybe I missed it.

There is no international shipping offered on that listing. You can't add GSP after the fact - it has to be an option in the listing before item is purchased.

I believe you would still need to opt in to using GSP on your listings in the shipping section of your site preferences

and then revise the listing and set it up there as an international option.
