Priority International Tracking Question

If you ship USPS priority mail international, do all counties show tracking all the way til delivered?
I know that there are countries that have first class tracking/delivery all the way. Those are the only ones I ship to now. But would like to add countries with other ship methods that will show tracking & delivery to the other countries.

Priority International Tracking Question

Let me change the question a bit
On the USPS site, it states that using Priority Mail Express International that it covers 180 countries with tracking all the way til delivery if I read it correctly. I am unable to find that list of countries. I want to use Priority Mail Express International for all countries except Canada.
Which countries should I avoid not matter what?

Priority International Tracking Question

Expensive shipping methods take money out of your pocket and give it to the post office. If something does get lost a tracking number showing it was never delivered doesn't help you very much.

You'll make more money and be better protected shipping the cheapest way (first class) and purchasing insurance to cover loss. Or you could start your own insurance company by putting the money you would have spent on insurance into a pickle jar.

Priority International Tracking Question

You certainly do not need Priority Express Mail!

Priority Mail International provides full tracking to virtually any country where you might have a customer. It includes up to $200 indemnity, too. Keep in mind that Priority Mail International FRE's and the small FRB are treated the same as First Class Package Service with regard to e-Delcon and lack of USPS insurance.

Personally, I block all of Africa, South America, Central America and the Middle East. I also block much of Asia, most of Eastern Europe and most of the Caribbean, plus Italy.

In other words, I concentrate on my target audience -- Canada, UK, Scandinavia, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Bermuda, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. I offer First Class Mail and FRE's when possible, even though e-Delcon is not available with retail postage. Otherwise I rely on Priority Mail with its built-in tracking and insurance.

Priority International Tracking Question

Hi

thanks. I decided to stay with the first class international mail that has e-Delcon tracking.

Tip: If you're not seeing tracking data on a Priority International shipment, try AfterShip.com.  You can put in your international tracking number such as LK99999...888US  I just found complete tracking data there through delivery (whew!) for a package that I shipped a few weeks ago to Russia. This data was not showing up on USPS tracking.
