Print label and get tracking but don’t go mail it?

I bought a Buy it now item and paid the price the sellers was asking. Seller prints label and gets a tracking number.  I bought this on the 1st of December and it’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow the 10th but when I check the tracking it’s saying the seller never dropped off my item to be mailed. Is there another way to see if it’s mailed and if it ain’t here is there some kind of guarantee that if the item isn’t here when it’s supposed to be then your items free like the domino’s 30 minutes or less guarantee lol joking

You can file an item not received claim after the estimated arrival date.

Curious was there an acceptance scan at USPS? If so the package might actually be enroute as USPS does not adequately update package status.

Have you contacted the seller to ask what's going on? Maybe they just forgot to mail. I would definitely contact the seller before making any claims and give them a chance to make good.

@grauherr2 You have purchased an item on a platform that offers a money back guarantee so you have nothing to worry about. Just follow the procedures for an item not received case once the estimated date of delivery has passed. Go to your purchase history and select the item. Mark it as item not received and follow the prompts. Either the seller will then ship your item or you will eventually receive a full refund. Not exactly like Dominoes Pizza but not that different either. Best of luck to you....

May not be the case, but sometimes scans do not get done.

My carriers, and local offices are great about acceptance scans, but sometimes there is nothing in between that acceptance, and getting to the "unit" that does the delivery.

As others posted. Contact seller. Be a bit wary of being strung along, but remember you have the eBay MBG covering you for 30 days from the estimated delivery date.

eBay at one time had a "guaranteed delivery" policy, but eventually saw the folly of their ways, and it has been dropped.

Very true. Last year at this time, my local post office unofficially stopped origin scanning pickups and bulk drop offs. I can see the USPS is struggling again this year. Maybe not as bad as last year, but there are huge delays going on with some of my Priority shipping. I can see some locations stopping origin scanning knowing the delays are going to hurt their metrics.
