Was there a USPS postage increase in September or does ebay now give less of a discount by printing labels through them?
In August, my priority mail rate for a 2lb package from 63385 to 77242 went from $7.91 to $8.15 in September and my postage rates from 63385 to 90210 went from $9.98 to $10.29 - why did the rates go up??!! People already complain how high the shipping costs are (because they clearly have never shipped anything), now I'm going to have to increase them even more and more people will now give me low ratings for shipping costs, when you charge the exact amount. So frustrating!!

USPS rates haven't changed. The price differences that you cite are the difference between the Commercial Plus rate and the Commercial Base rate for Priority Mail. eBay Top Rated Sellers pay the Commercial Plus rate, others pay the regular online rate (Commercial Base). Apparently this increase is because you lost your TRS status.

@i_love_firemenThere has no been a rate increase nor has ebay changed anything. ebay continues to sell postage at the usps commercial rate. Perhaps you lost your top rated status? TRS sellers pay the usps commercial plus rate.

That makes sense, thank you so much! I won't accept free returns where I have to pay the postage to send items back for any reason, that's why I lost it 😞

Free returns are a requirement for getting the TR-Plus badge on your listings, but they are not required for getting the basic TRS status. Check your seller dashboard.
