Re: Postage Rates

Yes, I know that, but, they went up again.    It is higher all the places I sell.   Here I noticed 2 days ago a higher price for priority mail.  It is higher for the buyer. You sell other places, check it out. You will see a little difference.  Take care & Stay safe

Re: Postage Rates

USPS rates have not changed. If you give us a specific example, perhaps we can help you understand why you think the rates have increased.

@suscharmu_0

You  wrote "Here I noticed 2 days ago a higher price for priority mail".

1.  What priority mail service are you talking about?? - there is a std priority,  there is a  cubic weight  rate for packages over 1 cu. ft, regional weight rate A & B, several flat rate boxes & envelopes

2.  When did you see an increase in rate  when you bought a shipping label, when you were  charged a shipping/ handling fee on a purchase.

3.  You need to give more specific info so folks can help you.

4.  Haven't seen any  increase in rates since the last increase on January 23 or 24 2020 and eBay has no Announced a rate change  by USPS.

@suscharmu_0

You might want to read eBay's  policy on  selling mystery boxes  see below then take appropriate action-

Re: Postage Rates

Hi, If you write "LOT" in the heading it is ok to sell them.  You can not write the other word in the heading though. In this times of staying home, I started them. To bring customers joy when they see what I sent them.  I have been "Homebound" for 3 years now, more or less. I get joy out of opening the items I buy.  I buy these boxes & a lot of other items on-line. I never had no complaints what I send. I even ask them to tell me 3 things they love & 3 things they do not. I ask about colors they like.  Now with stores running out of items, I buy items I never dreamt of buying on line. Enough of this rant though. Thank you for your input!! Take care & Stay safe 🙏💖🌝

USPS prices have not changed since January ... if you would want to provide an example (or two), we can help you understand what you are experiencing.

Re: Postage Rates

You show 1 feedback in the past 6 months with a total of 10 for the last 12 months. I would suspect you were away so long you are just noticing increases. Things change in 12 months. Good luck!

it doesn't matter what you call them, you can't sell mystery boxes.

Have a great day.

Re: Postage Rates

In your pictures you  call them a Mystery Box

In your Item specifics you call them  a Mystery Box

Here is  from one of your listings

Item specifics
Condition: Used : Seller Notes: Might be old. Might be new. Might be used. What you get you keep, no returns on mystery boxes. Do you feel lucky?? Material: It Is A Mystery
Box Color: It Is A Mystery Box
Type: It Is A Mystery Box
Brand: It Is A Mystery Box

Re: Postage Rates

The risk with mystery boxes is not with the buyers, but with the sellers.   A lot of buyers pick up mystery boxes to see if they find value from the contents ... if they cannot, they just simply open up a Money Back Guarantee claim against the buyer, claiming that the contents are not as described (below value).

It is zero risk for the buyer.

The seller REALLY has to load up the mystery box with value so as to not get a Money Back Guarantee claim.  Because, if they do, then the seller loses the money and the shipping.

So, if a seller wants to take the risk to give people some fun, then have at it ... but don't come back here complaining that you lost money.

Nope.

eBay policy specifically says that Mystery Items are prohibited.

Mystery items or listings that offer an opportunity to win an item by chance or contest are not allowed on eBay. Listings for grab bags are only allowed if they follow our policy.

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/chance-listings-policy?id=4311

By not using the word "mystery" in your title but using it in the description and image (and your own explanation here) it is clear that you are trying to circumvent policy by not using a certain word in your title.

Doesn't matter how much you think buyers like your mystery boxes.  eBay policy still says no.

There is also a policy against listing in the wrong category.  Might want to consider that one too.

And last but certainly not least, there is a policy (and laws) against shill bidding.  Using one account to bid on or buy from another of your accounts.  Something that becomes very obvious when a user chooses such similar names for multiple accounts.
