Did anyone else notice a postage increase (specifically, my discount went down a percent)? For example, flat rate padded envelope was $6.30 two days ago and now is $6.50.'mI thought increases only happened at the begining of the year. Thanks in advance.

USPS has just released new rates proposed for next January. There have been no rate changes in domestic Priority Mail since last January.
$6.50 is the regular online price (Commercial Base) and $6.30 is the Commercial Plus rate, which is available only to TRS and some other high-volume sellers. You must print your label through eBay (not PayPal) in order to get the TRS rate.

Thank you.

The OP is a Top Rated plus seller = commercial rate plus discount.

USPS announces overall price changes, typically effective mid January of each year. However they have been known to make price adjustments whenever they wish. They recently (Sept. 3) increased the rate for First Class Parcel (not package).

Yes I know, I checked it. That's why I pointed out, "You must print your label through eBay (not PayPal) in order to get the TRS rate" rather than asking whether he had recently lost TRS (which is usually the case when this particular question comes up from a non-TRS seller).

They also renamed it.
First-Class Package Service — Retail
We revised the DMM in various sections, as a result of the transfer of First-Class® Parcels, a market-dominant product, to the competitive product list. First-Class Mail Parcels will be renamed First-Class Package Service — Retail and will continue to be available at retail with the same service and content restrictions. Additionally, the existing single-piece First-Class Package Service price category will be renamed First-Class Package Service — Commercial. We published this information in the September 14, 2017, Postal Bulletin.
