Raise your prices and see if they still buy it.  Are you selling this item at a much lower price than others are selling?  Strange they sell that fast.

A bit confused... what (in your mind) is a 'fake' US address? And did you cancel the initial Madame Alexander sale? 🤔

If you got paid why are you even checking to see if the address is "fake"? They pay, you ship. Maybe they are going to one of the forwarding services.

If you are using Bad Address to cancel, the buyer can report you for using "fake" reason to cancel the sale. It can work both ways.

How did you contact eBay? Thru help/contact or did you find a phone number doing an internet search? Did you do a search on USPS to check the address?

I was paid $250 for a doll that sold in 5 minutes. There was no USPS address. I spoke to eBay over the phone and they told me to just ship it. I asked them to look into the buyer’s information first because I knew it was scam where they just want to return it and say it was damaged. Customer service looked into their account and told me it was a scam. The reason I looked into it was the address made no sense. The doll was extremely sentimental to me and I wanted it to go to someone who actually wanted it.

Are you saying there was no address on the order?

HI,  Agreed with mtgraves - What made you think that it was a "Fake" address at first look & why did eBay think they were scamming you?  Maybe a Freight Fowarder?  Lots of overseas buyers use them.  A few of our best customers use Freight Fowarders.  Never had an issue.  We are very interested in this.  Thanks!  (J.B. I would say I’m trying to sell it for much more. It is very rare but really only relates to Philadelphia.

This conversation you had doesn't  sound like you were talking to eBay. The only thing  you had to go on was you thought their address was a scam. Buyers can have items shipped to a different address. A lot of freight forwarders are accused of being scammers  but that is  false. Someone using the freight forwarder was the scammer but sellers go online and say  that address is a scam address.

I have never heard of eBay telling a seller their buyer is fraudulent. What eBay would do is remove the listing and the buyer if they thought the buyer was fraudulent. At the most they tell you if you haven't shipped don't ship, if you have shipped you are covered as long as you ship it to the address provided. If it comes back as undeliverable you are covered.

eBay does not tell you what they do to a scammer. They don't tell another member  what they do to punish a buyer or seller.

'fake US adresses'...if it's a fake address the item will be returned to you...and buyer's refund might not even be asked by the buyer...returns 12_11.JPG

I had 2 returns this week adding to the pile. Never had a buyer request a refund.returns.JPG

Now I'm even more confused. Are you unhappy ("fake US addresses") with the addresses, awaiting one from the PA area?

This is impossible. A buyer cannot even make a purchase without having a shipping address entered.

Now, a buyer can have an incomplete or incorrect address entered, but you won't know if that is the case until you actually go to purchase a label.

Looking at one of the OPs listings, considering how many countries they ship to, maybe it wasn't a US address so looked strange.

Quite the conundrum! No address was on the order but yet they didn't think it looked correct so contacted eBay?

I did not see the original post before you scrubbed it, but I can see all the responses.

I see a lot of confusion which is understandable because your statement about "no USPS address" is unclear, but I don't see any sarcasm or rudeness.
