Please stop prompting us sellers with the 'Shipcover' insurance option

Dear eBay, Please stop prompting us with the 'Shipcover' insurance option for EVERY SINGLE LABEL we print, especially when you make the "skip" button the white one and the "Add Extra Protection" in blue, as the previous and following windows are blue.  We've almost clicked it a dozen times already, and there's no option to avoid getting prompted over and over again.

WE DON'T WANT TO PURCHASE EXTRA INSURANCE AND CAN YOU PLEASE STOP ASKING FOR EVERY SINGLE LABEL? THANKS!

It's only popping up on media mail (which is the vast majority of the items we ship), every single time, for every single shipment. We do not get the prompt when selecting 'Ground Advantage' nor any other method that automatically includes insurance.

Thanks... I had a few Ground Advantage orders today and the pop-up appeared for each one.

(I wonder if it might be a function of what browser one is using?)

In any event, thanks to @cardxcraft,  I will be moving all my postage purchasing activity to Pirateship starting immediately.   A much nicer experience overall, and the GA rates are often better than what I've been seeing on eBay.

First let me say, at every turn Ebay is adding more clicks, hurtles and road blocks to get information that we use to see with one click.  Ebay in their wisdom is increasing the burden on sellers for some reason I do not know, nor do I understand.  But greater minds than mine clearly feel all these cumbersome changes are important to the growth of the site.

Today when I was doing my shipping, there were some changes made by Ebay.  Much of what I sell ships Media Mail and then other items [less often] ship Ground Advantage.  Now this is what I see when I am going to create a shipping label.

Media Mail no longer appears on the first page as it has for many YEARS.  Clicking on the USPS button doesn't bring it up either.  I have to click on Compare All Services.  Then way down at the bottom of that screen Media Mail appears.

Oh and just to be slightly more annoyed, before today, I did not get this pesky insurance pop up on Media Mail, so they must have been rolling it out as I do get it now.

To say I'm annoyed at all of this would be a real understatement.  Ebay keeps messing with things that don't need to be messed with and great more work for the sellers.  When are they going to give us a break???

This is likely happening to me because I use Economy Shipping as my designation on my listings.  My guess is it will change if I change everything back to Media Mail, we will see.  I use Economy because it give 2 more days for the delivery estimates.  I guess I don't get to do that anymore.

Don't feel too bad. They also keep hounding the buyers with extended warranty coverage.

At today's Seller Check-In, eBay said they're evaluating options to manage the new insurance pop up in the "near future."

Hopefully that means they will add a "don't show this again" option or something similar.

I gotta have more cowbell.

Hopefully you didn't use media mail for that order. Ground advantage was 20 cents cheaper plus it's insured.

I used to use media mail all the time but with the last increase ground advantage is cheaper about 75 percent of the time. it took me a little while to get that in my head, to weigh and check the price on all my media sales but now I do it with out thinking.

Thanks for your concern, but I'm not a new seller.  I've been doing this for many years.

While I realize you're not a new seller that doesn't mean you can't get set in your ways and forget to check out other options.

In the short time I've been on these boards I've seen some sellers with a lot more sales than you have ask some very simple questions.

But thanks for letting me how much of a seasoned seller you are.
