Those of you who use Pirateship know that PS has been the same price as eBay UNLESS you are a TRS+ (which gets you an extra 3% discount on eBay but not on PS).
GOOD NEWS!!!
PS just published new lower rates that generally equals the TRS+ pricing. So frankly for TRS+ sellers there is no direct savings - BUT if you use a cash back card on PS then there is still a savings (cash back you can not get on eBay)
BUT for those who are NOT TRS+ sellers there are savings available.
The new rates are only visible to PS account holders. If No account then you only see the standard rates.
Notice I said GENERALLY equals eBay price. I just did a couple and PS was 2 cents higher than the TRS+ pricing. BUT since I can use a cash back card with PS and I can not with eBay then the cash back makes up the errant pennies and then some.
The extra discounts refer to:
- Priority Mail
- Priority Mail Cubic
- Priority Mail Flat Rate
- Priority Mail Regional Rate
HOWEVER - the extra discount is NOT applicable to SOME packages going more than 4 zones out. SOME of the zone 5-9 packages get the discount, but some do not.
However PS programming automatically shows the best price so you do not have to guess at it.
